SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
  Dear Lycée Community,

As we get ready to enjoy our holiday break, I want to thank you for your strong commitment to our growth and progress. Lycée is a truly ambitious project, and the tangible fruits of our combined faithful endeavors are evident in the many successes we celebrate. We are proud to share that we financed the renovation of the Priestley building and we look forward to the groundbreaking ceremony during Marché d’Hiver , Saturday, December 7th. The building will house a fantastic high school program: thank you to those who came to the High School Open House, witnessed in person the high caliber educational offerings we have detailed, and heard first hand from our current high school students and staff. Our School Performance Score has improved, and we rank amongst one of the most sought-after schools in our city. Our French accreditation application is complete so that we can fulfill our mission, and we are truly thankful for the support of the French community. Lastly, thank you, parents, board members, staff, PTO and Dad’s Club, for all the support and commitment you demonstrate daily. Your kind words, constructive feedback on ways we can improve, notes of support to teachers and staff, your smiles and caring thoughts mean a lot to all of us as we work to shape and grow this unique institution. I wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Thank you for all parents who filled out the Lunch Application for the 2019-2020 school year. Instructions and link to application found HERE . It will take 1-5 minutes of your time and it will be a great help to our school. If you need assistance filling out the application, please reach out to Nicki Kristol at nkristol@lfno.org . Merci!

For Families of Students with IEPs
IEP Progress Reports are sent home every 12 weeks, attached to report cards. Unfortunately, the ransomware attack that occurred on Monday morning impacted several governmental and state agencies, including the Louisiana Department of Education. The LDOE has advised that all of their sites are down, including the Special Education Reporting System (SER), and has not yet given an estimated time of reactivation. Therefore, we are unable to access SER to print hard copies or send electronic copies of IEP Progress Reports. As soon as SER access is restored, IEP progress reports will be printed and sent home with students. Please note that some IEP progress reports were printed before Monday, which will be sent home on Friday with report cards. If you have questions about this, please reach out to your ESS case manager, Jamela Dermish ( jdermish@lfno.org ) at Patton, Vincent Wiemann ( vwiemann@lfno.org ) at Johnson or Mandi Lehnherr (mlehnherr@lfno.org).
