SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Pictured is last year's kindness tree
Dear LFNO Families,

Although this year looks different than any other year, we are grateful for the kindness and the compassion within our community. As part of Patton’s culture, we pride ourselves on filling staff and students’ buckets with kindness. Kindness is the gift we all can afford to give.

We want to take this opportunity to shout out and recognize the incredible work of our staff and teachers. We know that distance learning is not ideal, but we are all doing our absolute best.

Thank you to our families for your continued support as we forge into a new, but temporary, normal together. I wish you well and will think about our brilliant, bilingual and beautiful community and our commitment to serve it well every single day.

Best,
Principal Duffauchard

My first job? I helped younger students as a Communities In Schools tutor.
Principal character trait? Optimistic-I expect good things to happen. I have a tendency to view situations through many lenses and look forward to encouraging positive outcomes.
Biggest character flaw? Over analytical- At times being too analytical can inhibit you from tapping into other mental resources. When I find that I am being too rational, I find ways to reset and calm my thinking through holistic activities such as yoga, exercise and meditation.
Favorite sport? My favorite sport is gymnastics.
My passions in life? My passions in life are helping others, spending time with family and friends, and ensuring personal wellness-mind, body, and heart.

My heroes and heroines in history?  To name a few, Mae Carol Jemison, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr.
A cause I support?  World Health Organization
My greatest dream? My greatest dream is to lead a joyous, happy life; leaving positive vibes with all I encounter.
Cities I lived in before New Orleans?  Buras, La; Hattiesburg, MS; Greenwood, MS
Why Lycée?  I chose Lycée because this is a school that encompasses the total package. Not only does Lycée offer a quality and rigorous educational experience, its focus on growing families (academically, socially, and emotionally) and harboring a culturally diverse community proved to be the perfect fit for me.
My favorite quote? "You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist." -Indira Gandhi
