PATTON
Carpool
This is a reminder to be patient and cautious during morning and afternoon carpool. Please follow all traffic and parking ordinances, and above all, be courteous to neighbors by allowing them easy access to and from their homes and avoid blocking driveways. During carpool, all cars should move to the left side of the street to allow others cars to pass on Constance Street. We all have a responsibility to keep our children and each other safe.
Lost and Found
The unclaimed and nameless articles of clothing, lunch boxes and water bottles are ever growing. Parents are encouraged to check the Patton St. lost and found collection in the Kindergarten hallway to reclaim articles left/lost by their children.
Peanut Free School
Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans is a peanut-free school. Please do not send anything containing peanuts in your child’s lunchbox or for snack time in the classroom.

COMMUNITY CARES
One of our PTO committees, Community Cares, exists to provide assistance in many forms; as well as help to foster connections and build purposeful partnerships within the Lycée parent/teacher community. This can take the form of starting a meal train, assisting with linking transportation needs to solutions for children getting to/from school, helping families experiencing financial hardship to obtain gently used uniforms, or providing support to families in our community that are dealing with a long term illness.

This year, Lycée parent Elishia McAllister is spearheading a great project, the “Community Cares Closet”. Dedicated closet space has been secured at St. Paul’s Church at 600 Eleonore St. (right next to the Patton Campus) to store and distribute gently used uniforms AS WELL AS winter clothing items, such as jackets, scarfs and mittens. Items can be donated to the closet whenever is most convenient to you. Clothing collection bins will be placed at both the Johnson and Patton Campuses. At Patton, it is a large pink plastic bin located under the stairwell as soon as you enter, to your right. The clothing donations will be transferred to the Community Cares Closet at St. Paul’s and inventoried prior to distribution.

Every Tuesday evening from 5:30 PM until 8 PM, the Community Cares Closet at St. Paul's (600 Eleonore St.) will be open to families who have need of these items. No appointment is required, but an advance email is appreciated. Drop-ins welcome.

For any questions regarding this project or Community Cares needs in general, feel free to email Elishia McAllister at femmeiliar@gmail.com .
