Dear Lyée families,

This 2017 Marche was an incredible success, breaking all fundraising records for the event in the history of LFNO!   This fantastic achievement was made possible by the support of our unbelievably dedicated principal, administrators, teachers, PTO Board, Parent Volunteers and Students Volunteers.

A huge thank you to all of you that participated in the event on every level.  Your support is what drives our school to become a leading educational institution in Louisiana, and is greatly appreciated on many levels.

Funds raised from this, and all La Liaison fundraisers will be put into furthering our Math, Science, ELA, Arts and Thinking Outside the Classroom programs.

Merci!

Celebrate the season with holiday cheer through giving! Between now and December 18th, 2017, we are collecting NEW, unwrapped toys for 90 children ages 10 months-5 years old to give to our friends at Incarnate Word Early & Preschool Headstart.

Call out to volunteers: We need creative parents to help decorate and donate 2 large boxes that will be placed at each campus! We also need one volunteer to help deliver the toys to Incarnate Word on the last day!

Contributions can be dropped off at the front office of each of the campuses or delivered to a staff member during carpool.

Don't delay! Give today!

REMINDER: if your child is currently enrolled in Pre-K4 (tuition) at Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans, please note that you are required to submit a OneApp for Kindergarten - specifically to Lycée - if you wish to continue with us.

The OneApp says that you do not need to apply to the school your child already attends. That is true for most schools. Lycée Tuition Pre-K4 to Kindergarten is the exception to the rule. If your child occupies a tuition Pre-K4 seat, you do need to apply to K. The Tuition Based program and the Kindergarten and up program count as two different programs because they have different funding sources.

You may submit a OneApp online with your existing account (the one you used last year). Your deadline is February 23, 2018. The early deadline for January 12th 2018 ONLY applies to applicants for 1st grade and up, not to Pre-K4 or Kindergarten.

Please contact Cristina with the Admissions department at [email protected] should you have any questions or need your children's OneApp IDs.

Did you know?
What's new at our TOC at the Audubon Zoo classroom this week? Students enjoyed a 'Behind the Scenes' of the swamp exhibit. They went where it smells funny, where the fish tanks and the snakes are seen from above, where the rats and meal worms are growing up to feed animals on the exhibition, where baby alligators can be petted.

By using refillable water bottles, our staff and students have saved a total of 80,162 plastic bottles from the landfill.
