Students from the Visual Art/ Talent Program are exhibiting their artwork this weekend at the New Orleans Museum of Art for their annual spring event called Art in Bloom.  The exhibit is open March 15-18th during museum hours.

Congratulations to our 6th grade team for making it to the Final Four and taking home 3rd place in Louisiana Scholastic Chess League Tournament!

The next BIG tournament is the Louisiana Scholastic Chess Championship taking place in Baton Rouge on April 21st. Good lucky everyone!



Dads Club has our next social gathering at the Urban South Brewery (1645 Tchoupitoulas St) on 
Wednesday, March 21st starting at 7pm.

We will open a tab and hatch plans for our annual Bingo Night. We will need prizes to give the winners, in the past we've had power tools, gift certificates, bottles of booze, Pelican's tickets, and that sort of thing, so if you are able to donate something we'd appreciate it. Bingo will be on April 13th this year and is always well attended and a favorite of many families.

WHAT: Join us for Lycee Laser Tag Night at Laser Tag of Metairie. Let the kids go crazy with unlimited laser tag and come support La Liasion, to help support our school. Last year's event was very popular for kids and parents in the Fall Semester and, we look forward to doing it again this year in the Spring!  Cost will be announced soon!

Lake Ponchartrain Basin Foundation's 4th Annual Spring Sweep: 
WHEN: Saturday, March 24, 2018.
TIME: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. 
WHAT:   On Spring Sweep day (Saturday, March 24), you will go out with your group to your assigned zone, have your volunteers use theClean Swell app or fill out the data cards on the trash collected, fill trash bags, and finally turn in your group's data collection and summary cards (or mail them in).  Free thank you picnic for registered volunte ers at the New Canal Lighthouse from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
