Today, G*59 Record$ New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ are sharing their 3-song EP "I No Longer Fear The Razor Guarding My Heel (V)," which marks the fifth installment of their acclaimed series that originated in 2015 - Listen Here. The collection is renowned for its introspective lyrical content that sheds light on various issues, including addiction, mental health, and societal struggles. Produced by $uicideboy$ member $crim, the tracks include “Not Even Ghosts Are This Empty,” “Finding Shelter In My Larynx,” and “A Little Trauma Can Be Illuminating, And I'm Shining Like The Sun.” Previous releases in the series include three 3-song EPs and a track from their 2018 album "I Want To Die In New Orleans," which, combined, have amassed over 500 million streams on Spotify alone.

"I No Longer Fear The Razor Guarding My Heel (V)” follows a prolific year for the cousin duo, which includes a 4-part EP series, the Yin Yang Tapes, released in May accompanied by a collection of Japan-inspired animated music videos created by famed animator Tristan Zammit (known for working with artists like XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert, Juice WRLD). The four EPs include “Spring Season (1989-1990),” “Summer Season (1989-1990),” “Fall Season (1989-1990)” and “Winter Season (1989-1990).” Additionally, they had a joint EP with G*59 Record$ labelmate Shakewell, entitled "Shameless $uicide," which was released in February. And $uicideboy$ member, Ruby da Cherry, debuted a solo punk-pop project under his alias DUCKBOY, titled "tragic love songs to study to [vol. 5]," which came out in July. Music from these releases have gained over 100 million streams and debuted on both Spotify’s Top 10 Songs Debut Chart and Spotify's Top 10 Albums Debut Chart.

On August 25th, $uicideboy$ will embark on an arena and amphitheater tour, bringing their catchy apocalyptic vision of hip-hop, pierced with punk intensity, to over 40 cities across the United States. The tour will feature performances such as 2-nights at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, 2-nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, and their first-ever show at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York. The support acts on the tour will include Ghostemane, City Morgue, Freddie Dredd (on select dates), Sematary, and Ramirez. Tour dates are listed below and tickets can be purchased HERE.

ABOUT $UICIDEBOY$:

$uicideboy$ dig light out of the deepest corners of darkness, addiction, hopelessness, and pain. The New Orleans-bred duo of cousins—Scott Arcenaux, Jr. a.k.a. $crim and Aristos Petrou a.k.a. Ruby da Cherry—translate a fight against demons (seen and unseen) into a clever, caustic, and corrosively catchy apocalyptic vision of hip-hop pierced with punk intensity and a unique blend of introspective, dark, trap-infused, and aggressive beats. They shed light on several issues, including addiction, mental health, and societal struggles.

The world first met $uicideboy$ in 2014. After releasing dozens of projects and playing hundreds of sold-out shows, they’ve generated billions of streams and earned multiple RIAA certifications, including the platinum “…And To Those I Love, Thanks For Sticking Around” and gold “Carrollton,” “2nd Hand,” “Runnin’ Thru The 7th With My Woadies,” “Paris,” and “Kill Yourself (Part III).” Beyond their critical-acclaim from Billboard, XXL, Alternative Press, Pigeons and Planes, Hypebeast, Revolver, and more, they built their label G*59 Records into a bastion of independent talent and home to Night Lovell, Shakewell, Germ, Ramirez, and others.
