高中分班考試於本週末舉行: 
5/12(週六) 12:00-1:15PM, 教室103，5/13 (週日) 12:00-1:15PM, 教室221  
測試當天請攜帶美制中學的學生證件！

High school placement test will be held at Room 101 on 5/12 (Sat) from 12:00PM - 1:15 PM and Room 221 on 5/13 (Sun) from 12:00PM - 1:15 PM.
Please bring your junior high school ID to the placement test.

Free college admission seminar for parents! Calling all parents of middle school students! Plan your child's college admission strategies as early as middle school. What a student does in middle school affects their high school career and ultimately their college admission options. PTO has invited guest speakers Ms. Elizabeth Venturini and Mr. Scott Lund to share their expertise in helping your middle schoolers plan for their future! 太平洋交響樂團及南海岸中華文化中心共同成立的圓夢親子樂團，於5月19日週六10點在Merage Jewish Community Center舉辦「春之饗樂」免費音樂會，音樂會同時請到太平洋交響樂團的Santiago Strings Quartet ，南海岸中華樂團青少年女子樂團，爾灣中文學校3年級學生及爾灣銀髮族口琴社表演，歡迎參加!

Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center host Strings for Generations will perform at Soring Music Festival at 10am May 19, at Merage Jewish Community Center in Irvine. This free music festival also invited Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings Quartet, SCCCO Youth Ensemble, ICS students and Irvine Senior Harmonica Band. Welcome to come.

在北大教學科研之餘，擔任北京大學傳統文化社團耕讀社指導教師，對於社團儒
家經典及佛學修習提供建議。
女兒田田三歲起開始誦讀經典，目前已經通背四書，對於兒童讀經有一定心得。在國內多地面向大學生、企業、政府部門做中西文化比較與國學講座，幫助聽眾了解中國文化的優秀特質，確認正確的人生方向，受到好評。

暑期體育營 Sports Camp

南海岸中華文化中心/爾灣中文學校暑期營有與專業教練在室內體育館舉辦的籃球、室內足球、旗幟美式足球、羽球營等多元化選擇。

SCCCC/ICS summer program hold the basketball, indoor soccer, flag football, badminton at the indoor gym with flexible schedule.  
暑期國樂營 Chinese instrument Camp

暑期中華樂器夏令營，通過對中華傳統樂器暑期營密集性的學習，學員可以了解所選樂器的特性，掌握基本的演奏手法，並可以表演簡單的樂曲，營隊結束將有成果展。有古箏、二胡、笛子，不須自備樂器，名額有限。

Summer Chinese instrument program, students can learn how to play Guzheng, Erhu or flute through the 5 half days of intensive classes. There is the performance at the end of camp. Instrument provided.
