Greetings from C. Darby Ulery, founder of "Let's Go! Fairhope" events-related newsletter, calendar and website resource for Fairhope, Alabama.

Classes will be back in session this week at Alabama Coastal Community College, Baldwin County Public Schools and more. It's the annual Sunset Rotary 0.5K "Race for the Rest of Us" fun-"run" fundraiser, and Plot Twist Yoga Studio is celebrating their grand opening.

There's an Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting for Market By the Bay in their new location on Church Street, and it was fun talking with Snow Bloom Studio regarding their upcoming "pilateas" (with complimentary tea) and dance classes.

A special "Thank You" to Dr. Phillip Greer of Sweetwater Dentistry for letting us know about the Men's Breakfast that will take place Saturday morning out back by the creek on Sweetwater Circle. "The Race for the Rest of Us!"

Information from Fairhope Sunset Rotary:

Join us for our 6th annual 0.5K, a race with the shortest distance, but the most fun, all while supporting local charities!

• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Registration and pre-party with DJ Chico Drums
• Location: Bay Breeze Cafe @ 212 1/2 Fairhope Avenue
• The race starts at 3:00 PM (ends about 3:10 unless you are really slow!)

Don't forget to stop by the "medical" tent at the half-way point to replenish your energy supply compliments of Tamara's and Bill-E's restaurants!

Register here on EventBrite for the race with the shortest distance but the most fun street party supporting local charities!

Join us for the after-party with DJ Chico Drums until 5:00 PM.
