Dear Families and Stakeholders:
We appreciate your patience during the recent surge in COVID cases and for your understanding that short-term protocols have been implemented to ensure the safety of your loved ones.
- Our residential staff will continue to use enhanced PPE across all of our programs. Full PPE will be used in homes that are currently supporting positive or presumed positive individuals in our adult and children's programs.
- Our adult day programs opened in reduced capacity this week and we will continue to increase census in the coming weeks as long as the positivity data for our individuals and staff support it.
- The school welcomed back residential students this week. We are now providing in-school education programming to both day and residential students.
There has been much publicity regarding testing. We continue to test on increased schedules which has allowed us to discover positive cases early. We will continue to test frequently so long as we have the capacity to do so.
The media has also been actively publicizing access to rapid tests within the community. The United States Post Office is offering a service where every household is entitled to four free test kits. We encourage all of you to take advantage of this service so you have the kits if you need them. Please click here for the link.
We will be holding a Stakeholder Update Meeting on Wednesday, January 26th at 5:00pm. We are hopeful we will have additional updates for you at that point. Please see below for the link to the Zoom meeting.
Again, thank you all for your continued support, patience and understanding.
