The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing new federal protections to cut methane gas pollution. Cynthia Rives, UMW National Vice President, a member of First UMC-Denton in the North Texas Conference, recently testified at an EPA public hearing and stated that "protecting our air is protecting our children."

Be an advocate for the rights of immigrants! Texas Impact invites you to participate in its "Courts & Ports" program and register for an on-site mission trip to the Rio Grande Valley in winter-early spring 2022.
