Thank you for your generosity in giving to fund the mission and ministry of Chamblee Methodist last year. Even though we budgeted a deficit of $250,000, your faithfulness and extra-mile giving enabled us to almost completely close that deficit gap and finish the year right at $70,000 short. We are awaiting receipt of Employee Retention Tax Credits in 2023 that will cover our 2022 year-end deficit. In the interim, we have utilized designated funds on deposit to offset the deficit, just until those funds can be replenished by the anticipated credits. This is not an ideal way to operate, but our finish shows great promise and faithfulness, and hope! If you have not offered a pledge to give for 2023, please do so on our Healthy Faith | Healthy Church page.

As a service to the community, CFUMC is pleased to host AARP Foundation Tax-Aide. Trained AARP volunteers will be on location Thursdays and Fridays to help individuals file a variety of income tax forms and schedules. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

On Dec. 16, Chamblee First lost a faithful friend and pillar of our church. Mrs. Betty Robinson loved the little ones so, in her honor, the Alma North Circle is pleased to bring back "Undie Sundays." Now through Feb. 6, we are collecting donations of new socks, underwear, and PullUp training pants for needy young children in our community (PreK-2nd grade.) Or checks made payable to Alma North Circle may be placed in the Glow Sunday School mailbox, c/o Becky Craven.

A Celebration of Life service for Betty Robinson will be held on Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary followed by a reception in Fellowship Hall. Cards may be mailed to Betty's family: 825 N Fletcher Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

Scout Sunday & Spaghetti Supper

Following morning worship at CFUMC. In addition to celebrating the Girl Scouts and Cub Scout Pack 268, we will be recognizing the 75 years that Chamblee Methodist has been home to Boy Scout Troop 268! $8/plate or 4 for $28. RSVP

Christian yoga and meditation open the mind and heart to the word of God. All abilities are welcome so join us Monday mornings for Yoga with Keisha. Drop-in fee of $12 per session or $40 for a series of four.
