The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for our Small Business of the Year Awards.

Nominated businesses should be a member of the Chamber of Commerce, have less than 50 full-time employees and have opened for fully operational business no later than January 1, 2015.

Our finalists will be recognized at a luncheon on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the St. Charles Convention Center, during which the winner of the Small Business will be announced.

  Career Explorations Alliance is hosting two career weeks, March 28th-31st and April 4th-7th, that will impact more than 800 students!  We need 300 professionals from all lines of work to pull it off. 

Here’s the scoop:

  • It’s a one-time job shadowing or mentoring experience of only 2-hours.
  • Professionals can pick the date and time they are available.
  • The student(s) can either come to their business or an alternate location.
  • Registration is quick, easy and online:   CEA Program + Career Week Registration
  • Never done this before? No worries. An orientation packet will be provided to the professional, which includes tips, best practices, conversation starters, etc.
  • Once you are registered, we will reach out to you with additional details as we get closer to the date about your student(s).

The Board of Directors and Ambassadors were happy to welcome Hair Saloon - St. Peters / Village Mall to the Chamber of Commerce at their ribbon cutting & Biz Brew on Thursday, February 2nd.
