Backpack Buddies

Help the most vulnerable kids in OUR neighborhood stay happy, healthy, and fed.

Lend a hand to pack 95 backpacks per week for food-insecure children at Huntley Hills and Hightower elementary schools. These backpacks provide weekend nutrition to sustain children until their next meal at school. Gather your group and pick a day to pack together. Or join us at the next scheduled church-wide packing event.

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent — a time for reflection and preparation for Easter. Receive Imposition of Ashes at one of two worship services on Feb. 22.

In observance of the Presidents' Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 20, the offices of CFUMC and CMK will be closed. Please note, our front gate will also be closed all day for repairs.

Free Tax Return Preparation

As a service to the community, CFUMC is pleased to host AARP Foundation Tax-Aide. Trained AARP volunteers will be on location to help individuals file a variety of income tax forms and schedules. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
