I had the pleasure of hosting the 2023 Ramona Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner and Community Awards Gala. It was a huge success, with attendees dressed in their Roaring Twenties best and enjoying the ambiance and excellent food at The Barn here in Ramona. Thank you, Vito. You and your staff did a great job.
We have an excellent Chamber Board of Directors this year, and I’m looking forward to all that we can accomplish together in 2023. After we were sworn in, I was honored to recognize our community partners: Kaylene Weber, RUSD’s Teacher of the Year; Gayla Hager, RUSD’s Retired Food Service Lead; Billy Grillo, Firefighter of the Year; Deputy Evan Maldonado, Officer of the Year; and Bill Hicks, Volunteer Officer of the Year. Congratulations to you all and my heartfelt thanks for your service to our community.
Here’s my favorite part. The Annual Community Awards is a special event to all of us at the Chamber, because the nominees are truly your best-in-class people, organizations and businesses in Ramona. ..

As many of you know, our town's historic Christmas tree loses more branches every year and we will need to replace it soon; a new tree will cost about $20,000! Fundraising for a new tree is underway and will continue throughout 2023.
If you would like to contribute, you can name your price: donations can easily be made online (below). If you prefer to pay by phone or check, please contact our office. Many thanks those who have already contributed!
$1,000+ sponsors will be listed on a plaque that will be hung at the tree every year (and on display at the Chamber office the rest of the year).
