WORSHIP AT 8:30 AND 10:30 a.m.

First Sunday of Lent

Everything in Between: Stranger and Neighbor

Luke 10:25-37

This Lent, we are letting the Gospel of Luke guide us. We join Jesus as he “sets his face towards Jerusalem.” Over the next 15 chapters and 7 weeks, we will reflect on the stories and parables that defined Jesus’ final chapter in ministry. This week’s Scripture reading includes the parable often called, “The Good Samaritan.” It begins and ends with a question, “Who is my neighbor?” The answer, surprisingly, is “the stranger.” What might that mean for us?

On Sunday morning, 36 members of our congregation are on the Men’s retreat at the YMCA of the Rockies which means that our church is gathering for worship in two locations on Sunday morning!
