A Special Apple Seed Update
Friday, March 20th, 2020

Updated: March 20th, 2020

On Friday, March 20th Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a ‘Stay At Home Order’ for Illinois beginning on Saturday, March 21st at 5:00 pm , amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. We urge you not to panic. Essential services like: grocery stores, restaurants w/to-go service, hospitals, pharmacies, EMS & Fire Services, gas stations, and trash pick-up/disposal will continue. You may still leave your homes to carryout essential tasks like getting groceries and picking up prescriptions. You may go outside to walk your dog, to exercise, to get some fresh air, or other socially secluded activities. You should avoid any unnecessary activities that may involve exposure to other people. We urge you to keep in touch with family members via telephone, video chat, and other electronic means of communication, especially those who are at higher risk of infection, such as the elderly, immune compromised, and those with other underlying medical conditions.
