Ram's Eye View

✡️ Yom HaShoah Observance

Today, The Kehillah School observed Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with a meaningful program led by Director of Jewish Life and Philanthropy Rabbi Dennis Eisner and the Jewish Life Commissioners (JLC). Students and faculty gathered in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) to reflect on the Holocaust through storytelling, song, and poetry. In remembrance of the six million Jews who perished, students lit six candles, and an additional seventh candle was lit in remembrance for those who have lost their lives during October 7. Today's program created a space for reflection and unity, honoring the memory of those lost during the Holocaust and recognizing the heroism of those who resisted Nazi persecution.

🤝 Rams at Service Day

Before the Passover holiday break, students had the option to engage in meaningful community service, contributing to organizations that support local needs. Whether volunteering at the Palo Alto Children’s Library, Moldaw Residences, Allcove, Samaritan House, or taking part in on-campus activities, students gave back to the community in a way that reflects Kehillah's values of kindness, social responsibility, and care for others. This event was a reminder of the power of service and the importance of making a positive impact.
