Dear VMS parents,

Thank you for your participation in the VMS Move-a-Thon. This fun community event, including Spirit Week, provided great energy on campus as well as with our students at home. The Activity Trackers are in and on Friday we will be announcing student Move-a-Thon prizes and raffle winners. So far, we have raised more than $30,0000 and still counting!

Next week, we will be celebrating another important part of our VMS community, grandparents. In a traditional year, the halls and classrooms would be full of grandparents spending time with their excited grandchildren. We look forward to resuming that tradition next year. In the meantime, we will be celebrating our grandparents with a slideshow of photos from our families. Please find a photo with your child and grandparent and send to this week. We will have a link to share with our families and grandparents next Friday 4/7.

Also, many of you remember our annual Art Show featuring Elementary and Middle school artwork traditionally held here on campus during Grandparent Days. This year, our art teacher Jill is creating an online showcase that will be posted the second week of May. Art has continued despite this unusual year and Jill has much to share with all of us!

With Gratitude,
Yesterday was the last day for students to return their Activity Trackers to be included for student prizes by level for Most Moving Minutes and Most Raised Donations.

In addition, today is your last chance to purchase Raffle Tickets for the Raffle Extravaganza. Get yours now for chances to win fantastic prizes including tickets to Disneyland!

Winners for all of the above will be announced this Friday - Good Luck!

In traditional year, we invite grandparents to campus to spend the day with their grandchild. It's one of our favorite days with heartwarming memories being made at VMS. In this unique year that we cannot be together, we will celebrate grandparents by creating a slideshow to share with grandparents and the entire VMS community. Please, send us photos with your child and their grandparent(s). We will be creating a slideshow.
