THAT TIME OF YEAR

And all of a sudden, town is quiet! Ithaca College and Cornell University have held their graduations and the end of the month is here, so folks are moving on. Naturally, we celebrate by holding the annual Ithaca Festival! The parade kicks things off tonight, and I've taken a bajillion photos of it over the years. Most recently: two years ago, in gif form. It's always a hoot. The pic above is from a set I published in (*checks notes, dies*) 2012!

👆oops, I did it again

If you clicked through the link above to my blog...YES I redesigned my whole website, again. It's been a few months, right? I'm going somewhere with this, I promise.

It's more than just a new theme, there are a lot of differences in content. Specifically, I wanted to do a video portfolio of sorts (not a hype reel) where I briefly talk about a project, on camera, and show some highlights. A one minute recap. Anyway, when I was editing the video I realized that I wanted music, which is the thing I really wanted to share.

Instead of rewriting the whole blog post, just go check it out. But the tl;dr is that I'm giving away the four quiet instrumental songs for you to use however you want (creative commons attribution license). The music was intended to go underneath a talking head, hence the title: SONGS TO SPEAK OVER. Each song is about a minute long, and has a spot that you could loop seamlessly if that's your thing. Free to take these for video, audio, whatever.
