Through My Lens

May 2019

We all look at life through our own lens

Memorial Day gives us the opportunity to honor those brave men and women who  have died serving and protecting our country. May we pause today and offer a debt of thanks  and gratitude to those who have made this ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in this land of the brave and free.
 Until Next Time....                                                                Sue

Memorial Day

We are very blessed to live in the U.S.A.
A land that is open and free.
Many would like to enjoy this privilege
But our freedom did not come free.

Those in the military who have stepped up
To defend the freedoms of this great land,
They protect the core values and great ideas
For which the United States does stand.

Over the years our soldiers have been
Protecting people around the world each day.
Standing for the poor and those in need
Who often do not have a say.

So as we celebrate this Memorial Day
Let's pause to remember why we are free.
And stop and honor those who have died
And sacrificed their life for you and for me.

" Freedom does not come without a price. we may sometimes take for granted the many liberties we enjoy in America, but they have all been earned through the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many of the members of our armed Forces."
