We all look at life through our own lens

As we cruise down the river of our life we all have the opportunity to experience rough waters and some interesting challenges. We can't back away in fear but step up with courage to face what is ahead. These can be very difficult times but we learn and grow through these experiences knowing that there will be smooth waters ahead.

The River of Life

I was cruising down the river of life

When suddenly I did see...

A huge dark mass blocking my path

So this was a challenge for me.

I can't go over it; I can't go around it;

I can't go under it I know,

So I must cruise down this unknown river,

For I have no other way to go.

This will be a difficult journey

It's black and unfamiliar to me.

It's frightening and I am all by myself

But there are no other options for me.

So forward I'll go down this dark river

For no other choice do I see.

Eventually I will see the light

Then a much stronger person I'll be.
