"Turn It Up!" -- UMW Assembly 2022 -- is scheduled for 05.20.22-05.22.22 in Orlando, FL.
There will be an optional, pre-event Ubuntu Day of Service on Thursday, 05.19.22. Assembly 2022 officially convenes on Friday, 05.20.22, at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at noon on Sunday, 05.22.22.

NTC UMW is in the process of finalizing its conference UMW room block request for Assembly 2022, and we need your help! Please complete/submit the online "UMW Assembly 2022 Housing & Travel Survey for NTC UMW" on/before 06.25.21 with your housing and travel preferences.

Honor a Friend or a Loved One In A Special Way: Donate to the NTC UMW "Burning of the Candle: Minute in Mission Project 2021" by 10.01.2021
NTC UMW invites you to celebrate a dear friend or loved one with a donation of any amount to the NTC UMW "Burning of the Candle: Minute in Mission Project 2021." Our goal: burn a candle at the NTC UMW 2021 Annual Meeting & Celebration in October 2021 one minute for each $20.23 (the 2021 UMW-calculated "minute in mission" amount) in donations received on/before 10.01.21.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF DONOR FORM AND PAYMENT: 10.10.21. Mail the completed donor form and a check (payable to NTC UMW with "Burning of the Candle 2021" on the memo line) to: Lela Luxen, NTC UMW Treasurer, 1217 Savoy Ln., Richardson, TX 75080. Completed donor form must accompany payment.

Donors' names and the names of those honored and/or remembered will be included in the online NTC UMW 2021 Annual Meeting & Celebration Program Book.

Grab your popcorn and/or favorite beverage and join other UMW members around the country for five matinee movie/discussion events on Tuesday afternoons in June/July.

This event is sponsored by UMW's Office of Racial Justice, is free, and open to all. Movie/episode lengths vary, but they are usually one hour. A non-recorded discussion period will follow (approximately 30 minutes-1 hour in length.

Registration (first come/first served) is required for all sessions.
Tuesday, 06.22.2021: UMW's Next Legislative Day - Register for the 06.21.21 Pre-Briefing and Call Your Congressional Representative on 06.22.21
The U.S. Congress needs to hear from women of faith who are supportive of infrastructure legislation and of accelerating the transition to renewable energy with equitable and just policies.

ACTION NEEDED! UMW members from all states are encouraged to call/contact their congressional representatives any time on Tuesday, 06.22.21. UMW, in partnership with the National Religious Partnership (NPRE), provides a suggested script and an online connection to elected officials.

A pre-briefing and training session will be held on Monday, 06.21.21, 3-5 p.m. CDT, and will include a review of climate justice and energy transportation issues.
