Opening Day for Bogus Basin Summer Activities
Mark your calendar! Bogus Basin's summer season begins tomorrow, June 19, bringing back a full schedule of free live music, outdoor yoga, and mountain adventures throughout the summer.
Free outdoor yoga kicks off this Saturday, June 20, with classes held Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10 am through September 7, and new this summer on Fridays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Music on the Patio also begins June 20, featuring local musicians from 2–5 p.m. on Saturdays (when there's no Music on the Mountain concert) and Sundays. Admission is free.
Outdoor attractions include the Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, Mineshaft Challenge Course, Basin Gravity Park with lift-served downhill biking, and miles of hiking and biking trails.
The popular Music on the Mountain concert series returns Saturday, July 11, with shows on select Saturdays from 2–6 p.m. Here's the 2026 lineup:

Summer Hours & Schedule:
- The Basin Gravity Park and summer activities will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am – 7 pm, plus holidays, from June 19th through Labor Day (September 7th).
- The Double R Ranch, Bogus Creek Lodge, and Bogus Creek Grill will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm.
- Mountain facilities will be closed on non-holiday Mondays and Tuesdays.
If you drive up to Bogus for any of the events, be sure to look for me riding up to the top on my road bike (bicycle - no motor -:) as it is one of my favorite rides.
The above photo is with my son John back in 2017 when I first got into mountain biking. If you get a chance, check out the trail called Around the Mountain (ATM), which you can run, hike, or bike as the views are incredible.
