WORSHIP AT 10:00 AM

SANCTUARY AND ONLINE

A Service of Prayerful Patriotism

Brass Prelude at 9:45 a.m.

Worship at 10:00 a.m.

Congregational Conversation at 11:15 a.m.

As we approach the July 4th holiday, our worship becomes an extended prayer for our nation. We are honored to welcome Mark Udall, former U.S. Senator from Colorado (2009–2015), as our guest preacher. David Skaggs, longtime member of our Chancel Choir and former U.S. Representative, will offer a prayer for our country.

Following worship, Senator Udall and Representative Skaggs will guide us in a Congregational Conversation, continuing the morning’s reflection with dialogue and shared hope.

Middle and High School Youth will stay through worship today. Elementary Children are also welcome to stay, or they may leave at the beginning of the first hymn for special activities with Rev. Lianna Campos, Minister of Faith Formation. Activities for children and childcare are also available during the Congregational Conversation following worship.

Summer Brunch Church is for Everyone!

Volunteers Needed for Sunday, July 20

We need your help to create our Brunch Church on Sunday, July 20!

A favorite event in First Cong's summer schedule, Brunch Church brings us to Plymouth Hall to worship together as we enjoy a meal of baked frittatas, coffee cake, and fruit. But it won't happen without lots of joyful volunteers! Interested in baking (easy recipes we provide) or bringing a fruit bowl? Or arranging tables and chairs and place settings to make a beautiful and welcoming venue? Go now to our Sign-Up page to let us know how you want to help.
