HOLD UP ONE SEC

This month I found myself lucky enough to log off and jump into Lake Minnewaska, just a short hike uphill from the waterfall above πŸ‘† I was clueless that this is the waterfall and general location from Severance episode 4 of season 2. "The tallest waterfall on the planet." Hilarious, because why wouldn't the innies believe it? Funny little write up from Hudson Valley Post, which also gives a shout to a bigger NY hotspot that's practically in my back yard, Taughannok Falls.

Where am I going with this? All that time in the woods was refreshing. So when I got back, I got to work (but this isn't about work work, it's about play "work").

new york or maine

πŸ‘†making enemies, again

While I'm on the topic of New York being pretty awesome in general, I made a thing. Maybe a bad thing, but I 100% don't care. It's a photo quiz. Simple really. Is the photo from New York, or Maine? Don't expect easy answers. I'm not even going to tell you which ones you got wrong. 10 pics, good luck.

latitude album art

Here's a 2 minute song that I labored over for a week. It's quiet, not too tense, but not nearly as sunny as the last single. I've got some dope synths in there, trust me. I also experimented with releasing it on Catalog, too, which is a fun indie place.

SWELTERING

Thought I forgot to share the digital quilts from the month? Nah. Here's all 10 I did in July. I hate working with gradients, so naturally I made it my goal to use ONLY gradients. Mission semi-accomplished (I like one or two of these).

Just finished reading Tartufo (Kira Jane Buxton) and loved it. Mostly through The Studio on Apple TV and love it. Rewatched Game Night and could re-rewatch it again, so good. Been listening to the musician Clark and I'm hooked (20+ years of music to catch up on). Lots of inspiration, still too much heat and sun. Get that hβ‚‚o friends.
