CNG is truly a very special school! We love to see demonstrations of our core values by members of our community. Friday was Teachers’ Day and we were able to see the values of caring and respect within a wonderful video made and shared with our teachers from the National Honor Society (NHS). We are sharing this with you to enjoy as well!

HS High School

From the Principal’s Desk

We remind you that Monday May 18th and Tuesday May 19th are going to be asynchronous learning days for the High School. Please support your student by helping them get organized to take advantage of these two days of learning. There should be no students who have “nothing to do”. Teachers will be available to meet with students individually through appointment and some teachers will be offering voluntary opportunity days.


MS Middle School

A big thank you to families who honored our teachers this week for Teacher Appreciation. Because of you, each teacher was given a special personal message in honor of this special moment. If you haven’t already, please thank your child’s teacher they are working hard to provide the very best during these difficult times. 
ES Elementary School

Dear ES Families,

We are, "Hunkering-Down," for the last 4 weeks of DL now. Throughout all discussions this week there was one particularly enlightening comment we must share. From a CNG ES parent in Coffee Chat, (we have to remember that...)  "Our children are developing resilience and independence. They are learning how a house works."   Brilliant!

PS Primary School

Dear Parents,

I have to be honest and tell you that this has been a rough week. Being alone, worried about my family in the US, thinking about our students and your families, and concerned about our staff just took its mental toll on me. I also realize this quarantine has been hard for all of us, and that is where my reflection took me this week. 


 Learning Center
Dear parents:

I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the committed teachers that have helped to make Distance Learning a wonderful experience for all students. As you may be aware Primary and Elementary Schools have been making some adjustments to the schedule with the intention of continuing to find the just-right balance for all students. With these new changes, we may find some overlap with some of the Learning Center interventions and support sessions that had already been scheduled. Each Learning Center teacher will be working with each family to find the best options for each child. There may be cases in which it will not be possible to change the intervention sessions. In these instances, the Learning Center will be working with homeroom teachers to make sure students with conflicting intervention and support sessions have opportunities to catch up on any missed instructions and content from their classroom.

Condor Activities

We appreciate your support in continuing with the Condor Activities. We want to invite you to take part in your child's final activity which will be the last day of each class- May 26 through June 1. We will be sending information regarding times and li nks to you.
