1,100 Pages of Archival Leads Directly From The National Archives for the Press, NARA,

and Congress to Investigate.



For decades, the public has been told that UFOs were either misidentifications, folklore, or low-priority curiosities. Yet these 27 archival records show something different: a postwar national-security system with the institutions, secrecy rules, scientific pipelines, intelligence compartments, technical exploitation centers, and psychological-management channels that a UFO crash-retrieval or reverse-engineering program would require.


This release is not presented as final proof. It is presented as a roadmap for investigation.

Congress, the National Archives, historians, journalists, and citizens should ask: What UFO-UAP-evidence files are still withheld, misfiled, destroyed, compartmented, or hidden inside other classified programs?

Shows an official DOD/National Academy/JIOA system for identifying and evaluating foreign scientific talent in aerospace, nuclear, biological, electronics, and military-relevant fields. Documents postwar planning for dispersed underground manufacturing, storage, shelter, and defense infrastructure. NARA and Congress should determine whether underground or remote facilities were later repurposed for crash-retrieval storage, biological containment, or reverse engineering.

A direct investigative lead involving Oak Ridge, Roswell, possible autopsy claims, Charles Rea, Paul Farrell, and medical personnel. It should be treated as a lead, not proof, but it gives names, dates, places, and records systems to investigate.

A direct UFO evidence-management record involving the Robertson Panel, Blue Book, ATIC cover, Special Report 14, public-release policy, and Air Force UFO investigation objectives. Congress should recover the complete Robertson Panel, Special Report 14, Blue Book, CIA/ODP, and Ground Saucer Watch litigation files.

Shows ATIC/Wright-Patterson functioning as a technical exploitation center for foreign aircraft, systems, materials, and electronics. This is relevant because anomalous debris or propulsion components could have been hidden inside ordinary “foreign technology” exploitation channels.

Shows CIA scientific-intelligence growth, OSI authority disputes, U-2/Area 51, CORONA, NPIC, and NRO-style compartmented secrecy. If UFO programs were absorbed into reconnaissance, sensors, aerospace, or intelligence platforms, this file points toward the right bureaucratic neighborhoods.

Shows the elite Air Force Scientific Advisory Board in July 1947, including propulsion, pilotless aircraft, electronics, upper-air research, nuclear energy, aeromedicine, and figures such as von Kármán, Dryden, Draper, Langmuir, Zwicky, Bronk, Lovelace, and Tsien. Congress should ask whether UFO or “flying disc” matters were routed through these panels.

A Secret Air Materiel Command / Research and Development Board “Technological Estimate of New Weapons” covering aircraft, power plants, and unorthodox aircraft/engine configurations. The historical origin of the “flying saucer” era, documenting Kenneth Arnold’s nine-object sighting, high-speed estimate, and official Air Force treatment as unidentified until 1962. Congress should review whether the later mirage explanation was evidence-based or a retrospective debunking decision.

Shows ATIC’s special “Green Hornet” handling system for material of exceptional importance and identifies an Aerial Phenomena Section inside ATIC. Congress should recover the Green Hornet logs, commander routing files, ATIAE-5 files, and related Wright-Patterson histories.

Shows ATIC working through Project NIMBUS, Project STORK, CIA OSI, CIA ORR, AFOIN, metallurgy studies, aircraft materials, and atomic-power-plant materials. If anomalous crash debris was folded into “foreign technology” or “materials” programs, this is a prime file series to investigate.

Explains how special-access, Restricted Data, aircraft-crash, leak, media, and compromise investigations were controlled. This is not UFO-specific, but it shows how a modern cover-up, leak investigation, or classified crash program could be protected.


PDF-Part 6, p.216 — NSC_UFOS_Walter_B_Smith_1952.pdf

A direct CIA/NSC UFO national-security document mentioning ATIC, Battelle, unexplained cases, air-warning vulnerability, mass psychology, and need for coordinated research. Congress should demand the full CIA/OSI file, draft NSC directive, Battelle contract records, and any National Intelligence Estimate on flying saucers.

A Top Secret presidential briefing cover sheet for a “Five year UFO Study,” prepared by CIA intelligence leadership and based on ATIC files. NARA should locate the missing body of the briefing, Weekly Black Book attachments, IAC concurrence papers, DCI briefing logs, and ATIC source files.

A direct Wright-Patterson UFO program document showing trained investigators, rapid field response, AFR 200-2 authority, and transport support for UFO investigations. Congress should identify the investigator roster, training materials, Horse Fly transport records, and all field deployment logs.


PDF-Part 6, p. 263 — Blount-Evans.pdf

Shows classified aeromedical and psychological analysis of UFO reports, a newer Top Secret report in process, and a contemporaneous flying-saucer crash rumor in Mexico. Congress and NARA should locate the original psychological-analysis report, the later Top Secret report, Aero Medical Laboratory files, and Mexico crash communications.


PDF-Part 6, p. 267 — MIB FBI Document 1967.pdf

A highly unusual Men-in-Black lead referencing witness contact, impersonation of federal officials, and theft of physical evidence such as photographs, EM residuum, and “angel hair.” This should be released with provenance caveats, followed by authentication through FBI, AFOSI, CIA, NSA, and local law-enforcement records.


PDF-Part 6, p. 269 — NARA_JR&D_Board_Security_Regulations.pdf

Shows the formal 1947 secrecy architecture for classified R&D information: Top Secret handling, log numbers, oaths, reproduction controls, transmission rules, and document destruction. This is the roadmap for how crash-retrieval or reverse-engineering records could have been logged, copied, moved, downgraded, or compartmented.

Shows Donald H. Menzel, a prominent public UFO skeptic, as an NSA consultant in a Secret/Top Secret compartmentalized channel. Congress should compare his classified consulting timeline with his public UFO writings and request NSA, FBI, CIA, Air Force, Navy, Harvard, and security-clearance files.


Why This Matters Now

These documents identify the real government channels that deserve deeper investigation: ATIC/Wright-Patterson, CIA/OSI, NSC, Battelle, AFOSI, JIOA/Paperclip, Air Force Scientific Advisory Board, JRDB/RDB, NSA, and classified contractor pipelines.


The public deserves to know whether the UFO/UAP issue was simply mishandled — or deliberately hidden inside national-security compartments for generations.
