The Trustees are in need of volunteers to join the security team to monitor the front desk, lock the doors, and monitor the cameras during our weekly services and Sunday School. If you are available and would like to assist, please contact Cathy Newbill at newbillca@gmail.com. A signup sheet will be sent out to all interested.

Unmasked is a class that engages participants in the words of Jesus and asks

us to consider how these words may carry direction and meaning for us today.

Did you enjoy the music during Advent and Christmas? Then now is the time to come bring your talents to the Chancel Choir! Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7pm beginning Jan. 19th in the Music Room. We have some wonderful music planned for Lent and Easter. Join us! Contact Allen Barbee for details.

Backpack Buddies needs your help to get our pantry ready for the spring semester! We are currently filling 28 backpacks a week for students at Huntley Hills Elementary that feed kiddos (and their families) over the weekend. Our biggest needs include ongoing donations of proteins (like Vienna sausages, tuna packets, or shelf-stable meals), pastas (mac and cheese cups, ravioli cups, or ramen noodles), and Milk (non-refrigerated, shelf milk). Donations can be dropped off at the church anytime during office hours and can be placed on the cart labeled "Please put Backpack Buddies Donations HERE" which will be in the atrium for the next few weeks. Wednesday lunch is canceled for the entire month of January and the first two weeks of February. When we return we will eat, depending on weather, in the serving area of the kitchen or the outdoor pavilion by the kitchen.
