(2) Equity Advocate for Faculty Searches Information Session
– Monday, February 3 (Faculty & Staff)
From Sarah Welch, HR & Equity Advocate Planning Committee

Faculty and staff are invited to attend an information session on Monday, February 3, Noon–12:50 p.m. in Shouse 315 to learn about a new equity advocate program. Participants will become familiar with the role of equity advocates, specially trained members of faculty search committees who promote practices that mitigate bias and ensure fair treatment. Those interested in pursuing training will commit to two in-person workshops and two online modules in February and March 2020. Although not all equity advocates will have the opportunity to serve on a faculty search committee, they will become effective champions of inclusive excellence across the MGH Institute community.  Register for the information session.
