**Please allow 3 to 5 days for AMHS NHS to respond to your tutoring request. For example, if you have a test on a Thursday, notify us by Monday or sooner that you would like to schedule a tutoring session. If you have a test on Monday, notify us by Wednesday of the previous week or sooner**

AMHS One of Six CCSD Schools Recognized on 2025 AP School Honor Roll

Last week it was announced that AMHS was one of six schools in Charleston County School District recognized by the College Board on the 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll. The honor recognizes schools based on student participation in AP coursework, success in earning college credit and engagement in advanced academic pathways. It also recognizes schools that expand access to rigorous AP coursework while also supporting strong student success and college readiness.

“This recognition speaks to what is possible when high expectations are paired with strong instruction and meaningful student support,” Superintendent Anita Huggins said. “Our schools are expanding access to rigorous coursework while ensuring students are supported to succeed. I am incredibly proud of our students, educators, and school leaders for this continued commitment to academic excellence.”
