1,274,167 Votes For the Love Life Amendment!
Thanks to YOU, our Campaign Covered the State!

Thank you again to everyone who voted YES on the Love Life Amendment! It took the effort and support of so many, but together, we took another step closer to an abortion-free Louisiana! Check out our more in-depth review of the amendment and its impact.

I just want to share a few observations with you about the election.

  • 1,274,167 Louisiana voters voted YES on the Love Life Amendment!
  • We won 62% of the vote, and President Trump won Louisiana with 58% of the vote. We showed again the bipartisan pro-life spirit of Louisiana.
  • Two weeks before the election our last internal poll showed 69% of Louisianians had heard or seen from our campaign supporting Amendment #1 (29% had seen "a lot"). And that was before our final push! This is a testament to the great work of our teams and supporters statewide!
  • We won every parish in Louisiana except East Baton Rouge (49%-51%) and Orleans (25%-75%). We have a lot of work to do there!
  • Congratulations to the "80% Club" of parishes that exceeded 80% for life: Lasalle (87%), West Carroll, Grant, Acadia, Caldwell, Allen, and Cameron. Of those, Acadia had the largest population. Click here to download full parish results.

Our campaign utilized a variety of outreaches to connect with well over a million voters across the state, including TV, social media, phones, yard signs, text messages, and more. Read our full overview.

For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

P.S. Congratulations to Senator Bill Cassidy on his re-election! All eyes are now on Georgia as its Jan. 5 runoffs will decide the control of the U.S. Senate. Contact all your friends in Georgia and ask them to vote pro-life! Voters can still register to vote for the runoffs until Dec. 7.
Black Advocates for Life Distributes Baby Supplies to Nearly 250 Families!
With your help, Louisiana Black Advocates for Life, under the direction of Associate Director Pastor Jonathan Burton, was able to bless nearly 250 families with baby supplies, including diapers, formula, baby wipes, shampoo and much more during a NOLA To-Go Baby Bag distribution Saturday in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. The distribution was held at Regeneration Church, and the line of cars needing the supplies went for blocks down the road!

Thank You for Helping Us Pass the Love Life Amendment and Protect Moms and Babies!
Thank you for helping us get the word out to Louisiana voters about the Love Life Amendment, Amendment #1, which was overwhelmingly approved on Nov. 3 and sent a clear message that LOUISIANA LOVES LIFE! More than 1.2 million Louisiana citizens (62 percent) voted YES. The passage of Amendment #1 assures that our current pro-life laws are protected and that state judges cannot "find" a right to abortion or the funding of abortion in the Louisiana Constitution.

The Christmas giving season is coming up, and just after Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday. We hope you will participate in one of two giving projects this year and support our Advertise for Life project, which aims to reach women considering abortion through a variety of advertisements that connect them with a local pregnancy center, where they can find the support they need to choose life for themselves and their child.
