The numbers are in, and RoadShow Africa's media exposure earned globally through social media and our partners in June alone proves the high interest in the African continent and the film industry.

Preparing for their inaugural event on October 20th, the RoadShow Africa team has managed to attract the most influential leaders and talents in film, business, and politics. With support of the African Consulates in Atlanta and major African organizations and enterprises, the event scheduled for October 20th will be the first of its kind to showcase African films while bridging the gap between America and Africa's film industries.

This one-night-only celebration of African film and collaboration will feature African-inspired hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, live music, an awards ceremony, and attendance by leaders and dignitaries from multiple public and private industries.

RoadShow Africa's Charity of Choice Saprea Announces Three New Partnerships in Columbia, Liberia, and the USA

My Watchman (Liberia) has developed an innovative solution to provide 24/7 access to critical emergency response services (security, medical, sexual gender-based violence, fire) anytime, anywhere in Liberia. Their goal is to bridge the gap in critical emergency and social response services in developing countries to impact some of the country's leading issues including sexual gender-based violence, and creating safe zones.

Saprea resources for awareness, prevention, and healing will become a permanent feature on the app for easy access. Given the average income in Liberia equates to $2/day, the Saprea-qualified, data-driven resources bring great value to the Liberian families, communities, and the society overall.

Accion International (Bogota, Columbia) partnered with Saprea to pilot the prison support group program. The program is currently being piloted in the USA in Utah, California, and Georgia. It includes a 21-week survivor-led curriculum developed by Saprea experts. Columbia will be the first country outside of the USA to pilot this innovative approach to healing from child sexual abuse within the prison system.

Columbus Entertainment 100 Event

RoadShow Equity partners were among many guests attending Columbus Entertainment 100 Event presented by Georgia Entertainment News & the Columbus Film Commission Office. The event was hosted at the Chattahoochee River Club and gathered the who is who from the film communities of Atlanta, Columbus, Savannah and other cities.

Columbus Film Commission representatives emphasized the importance of collaboration with Atlanta industry leaders and encouraged strengthening a business-friendly environment for filmmakers. Kelsey Moore, ex. Director for GA Screen Entertainment Coalition, confirmed their strong support for Columbus filmmakers.

One of RoadShow Africa's Partners, Art Meso, Put on Their International Art and Fashion Exhibit LA GENÈSE in Manhattan, NY on July 16th with a VIP reception at the CIVILIAN Hotel. The Successful Event's First Year Was in 2015 in Atlanta, GA.

Guests of the Exhibit enjoyed the artistic design by architect David Rockwell, where each room, restaurant, and outdoor space was curated to reflect the spirit of the Artistic District of NY where the hotel is located (Visit their Website).
