World Communion Sunday

“Sustenance in the Wilderness”

Exodus 15:22-17:7

This fall, we’ve been walking together through the book of Exodus. Today, six weeks into their freedom, the Hebrew people find themselves in the wilderness—where water springs from a rock, manna falls from heaven, and God’s grace whispers: enough, always enough. At 8:15 a.m. in the Chapel, Chris will lead us in reflection on this journey. At 10:30 a.m., during All Ages Worship in the Sanctuary, we will welcome Rev. Jane Anne Ferguson – retired UCC pastor and chaplain, spiritual director, storyteller, and new member of First Congregational Church – as our Sacred Storyteller. In both services,

we gather at the Table of Grace, joining with the wider church to celebrate World Communion Sunday.

The Council therefore approved a request from the Racial Justice Ministry for our church to join other congregations and individuals across Colorado in signing the Declaration.
