10-05-20: Start Off The Day Right. Job Openings

What do you do to start your Monday off right?
 My To Do List:

Wake up early. Do my morning exercises. Eat a healthy breakfast.
Read up on the latest business news. Make a list of priorities for the day (I am a firm believer of writing it down! I also love the back of envelopes!)
Interact with our team on a regularly scheduled call. This not only helps me focus on the tasks at hand, it also helps me better cater to the team's needs. We all know what has to be achieved for this day. We all are efficient because we started the day/week right!
"What would it take to start Monday off with an ... incredible WOW? The first four hours are ... EVERYTHING ... in terms of the week's tone."

7 Tips for Running a Successful Team Brainstorm-Even When Everyone's Remote

A brainstorm helps teams to gather wild and inventive ideas to imagine the future of our products. Or it can help participants step back from a thorny situation and chart a path forward.

Whether you're brainstorming something as specific and targeted as what set of features a product you're designing must include, something as strategic as how to build more inclusive working environments, or something as timely as how to adapt your team's workflow to a remote-only setup, brainstorms can help.

But with many of us working from home for the foreseeable future, the classic brainstorm structure needs adjusting. We no longer have the luxury of jamming on ideas in a room together, whiteboarding side-by-side, or gathering thoughts on sticky notes and mapping them out in real time. And unfortunately, it can be very easy to tune out when brainstorms go virtual, whether because of distractions in your immediate environment (hello babies, dogs, spouses, and grandparents!), or simply because you're (understandably) Zoom-fatigued.

Your brand and your network are two of your most valuable assets during a job search. But it takes an integrated online and offline communications approach to fully leverage the power of each. Social media like LinkedIn can provide you with expansive "reach" but the human interactions are what deliver the credibility and the chemistry. When you combine both, your job search progress can accelerate quickly and during this webinar, author and sales coach, DAVID FISHER, will present on his perspectives on "How to integrate online and offline tools to build your brand and your network".

In this Wine and Web we will:
  • Learn how to conduct an SME interview
  • How to make it an actual conversation
  • How to get the information you need when you don't know what information you need
  • How to align the conversation in a way that reveals conversions
