Spotlight Online | October 2, 2017

Bobcat, do you have a break during class? If so, drop by the Lane University Center to charge your phone at one of our phone charging stations throughout the building, check out a laptop at the Info Desk, hang out with friends, grab a quick bite to eat and even workout! Relieve some stress at Lane's Game Room by playing billiards or ping pong with a friend. If gaming is more your style, choose from one of the following systems: XBox One, XBox 360 or Wii. The game room has many games to choose from like NBA 2K17, FIFA 17, Mario Kart and Madden NFL 17.

A glorious program of classical music is in store when Moscow’s finest young string ensemble, the Russian String Orchestra, brings its trademark virtuosity, high energy and warmth to the Pealer Recital Hall. The program includes Gioacchino Rossini’s playful  Sonata for Strings, written by the composer at the young age of 12; Sergey Prokofiev’s vibrant  Visions Fugitives, Opus 22; and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s sweeping  Serenade for Strings, Opus 48.
