Sea Pines CSA Board of Director Ballot Information

This year, Sea Pines CSA has selected Vote Now as our 3rd Party Independent Elections Administrator, and they offer the opportunity to cast your vote either online or by completing a mailed ballot. Only one form of voting will be counted. Board of Director
Election Ballots will be mailed and emailed to the primary email address on file with Sea Pines CSA to Class "A" Members in good standing on November 1, 2021. All Ballots must be received by December 1, 2021, by 11:59 PM to be counted.

Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office Seasonal Hours To Begin Monday, October 25th

Beginning Monday, October 25, 2021, through early Spring 2022, the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office, located at 32 Greenwood Drive will implement the below seasonal hours:

  • Sunday – Thursday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM

If a guest of a property owner arrives at Sea Pines outside of the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office operating hours listed above, he/she is asked to drive directly to the security gate and speak with the gate attendant on duty. If the appropriate pass has been called in for the visitor, the gate attendant will have the guest’s name on their list and the guest will be allowed to enter Sea Pines. At that time the guest will be instructed to return to the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office the following day to pick up their pass. North Sea Pines Drive Phase 2: Major Roadway Reconstruction In Progress

Major stormwater drain pipe excavation and replacements are in progress in the areas along and across the roadway of North Sea Pines Drive between Red Cardinal Road to Spotted Sandpiper Road and the adjacent leisure trail.

HEAVY TRAFFIC EXPECTED/ UTILIZE GREENWOOD DRIVE GATE:
  • Heavy traffic delays should be expected on North Sea Pines Drive as crews will utilize single-lane closures along this roadway to accommodate the work.

  • Stormwater drainage installation along the drainage easement in proximity to Beachwalk #40 and Spotted Sandpiper Road will be taking place on Saturday, October 23rd, weather permitting. 

  • Owners, guests, and visitors are asked to plan accordingly and avoid the project area when possible by using the main gate located on Greenwood Drive. Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to seek alternate routes that avoid the project area. Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, and devices.

TEMPORARY FULL LANE CLOSURES IN PROJECT ZONE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 25TH:
  • Short timed/temporary road closures in both directions along North Sea Pines Drive between Red Cardinal Road to Spotted Sandpiper Road will continue through next week as the main stormwater drainage pipes that cross this major roadway are removed and replaced.

REMINDER OF LEISURE TRAILS CLOSURES IN PROJECT ZONE:
  • The leisure trail along North Sea Pines Drive from The Sea Pines Beach Club to Lawton Drive is closed to bike and pedestrian traffic. Please refer to the Leisure Trail detour map here for more information.

Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Projects Around the Community
Roadside mulching
Roadside mulching along Lighthouse Road will be completed this week. Mulching will begin along Greenwood Drive (by lot 8) next week, weather permitting. Flagmen will be present as needed to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should use caution in these designated work zones.
Beachwalk Stormwater Repairs
Stormwater repairs will be taking place at Beachwalks #47 & #43A the week of October 25th, weather permitting. The beachwalks will be open during the project, but we ask that pedestrians use caution.
Leisure Trail Tree Trimming
Leisure trail tree trimming will begin the week of October 25th along Heritage Woods. Leisure trails will remain open and we ask that pedestrians and bikers proceed with caution. Flagmen will be present, as needed.

Tickets on Sale Now For the 10th Annual Sea Pines Forest Preserve Bonfire
When: Friday, November 12th from 4:30-7:30 pm
Where: Fish Island in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve 

Support the Sea Pines Forest Preserve by attending their fall fundraising Bonfire event! Enjoy an evening of live music & celebrating the outdoors paired with a delicious Lowcountry-inspired menu crafted by The Salty Dog Cafe.

Tickets are $75 per person or reserve a table for eight (8) for $750
The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is a 501-(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and all proceeds from this event will benefit the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
