| | Lord Jesus, with so many things competing for my attention each day, help me not to lose sight of You. Remind me that while I have responsibilities to fulfill, my heart belongs first to You. Teach me to be honest, faithful, and fair in all that I do. When I face difficult decisions, give me the wisdom to do what is right and the courage to live according to Your values. Help me remember that I bear Your image and may everything I say and do reflect my love for You. Amen. | | MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL | | |
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
Dear Parents,
The first time I visited Holy Family, I had the opportunity to speak with several students, parents, and teachers. It was a busy day, but as I left campus, I reflected on the people I had met. While our campus is certainly beautiful, it is the people who truly make a school.
At Holy Family, the people are the reason God called me to be part of this story. During my visit, I quickly learned three things that make our community so special:
- Jesus is the cornerstone of our campus.
- There is a palpable sense of joy throughout our school.
- Our community works together toward a shared mission.
Thank you to all of our parents, faculty, staff, and students who continue to make Holy Family such an amazing place. I love our school and feel blessed to be part of this community.
If your family knows another family who might enjoy becoming part of the Holy Family community, please invite them to visit our campus.
Enrollment for the 2027-2028 school year opens in November, and several information sessions are scheduled over the coming months. We would love the opportunity to share what makes Holy Family so special.
God Bless,
Erin Vu

Angel Fund Update
Thank You for Supporting the Annual Fund
Thank you to the many families who have already made an Annual Fund gift or pledge this school year. Thanks to your generosity, we have raised $248,755 toward our $455,000 goal, reaching 55% of our fundraising target with 34% of families participating to date.
As we have shared throughout the year, it takes all of us working together to advance the mission of Holy Family Catholic School. Our goal is 100% parent participation, with every family giving at a level that is meaningful and manageable for them.
Don't wait to make your gift. If you are planning a cash donation, consider taking advantage of the year-end tax benefits. You may also choose to set up a recurring gift or make a pledge now and fulfill it later in the school year through the Angel Fund Giving Page.
Families planning to contribute through appreciated stock, a Donor Advised Fund, or a corporate matching program are asked to email advancement@holyfamilycs.org with the amount of their intended gift and an estimated month of payment so we can include your commitment in our campaign progress.
Pledges may be fulfilled through June 30, and gifts made by December 31 may qualify for the current tax year's charitable deduction.
Thank you for helping us strengthen the mission and future of Holy Family Catholic School.

Grandparent's Day is coming up!
Please check-in with your parents to ask if they need any help registering. It is important to provide them with the correct teacher and grade level information so that we may easily connect your children with them on Grandparent's Day. If you register for them, please let them know so that we don't have double registrations by mistake.
Your parents will be able to order and pay for lunch when they RSVP or they may bring their own lunch. Some grandparents like to order for their grandchildren as well. Please double check with your parents to see what they decide to do prior to making lunch decisions for your child.

Fund-a-Need Update: Thanks to this community’s generosity, we have been able to complete the following items as part of our gym refresh:
- Installation of a new scoreboard
- New gym wall pads
- New scorer’s table and padded player chairs
- PLUS installation of branded wrapping is underway to give the space a new look and feel.
Approximately $40,000 remains from last year's Fund-A-Need initiative. These funds are currently being designated for gym bathroom renovations, including new tile, and facility upgrades.
If funds remain after that project is completed, we will explore adding additional bleacher seating to increase capacity for school events.
We are currently in the discovery phase of the 2026-2027 Gala Fund-A-Need project. We value your input. Please fill out the following survey to help us determine the prioritization of certain projects that have been suggested, or perhaps you have one of your own to share.

October is Respect Life Month
The Catholic Church in the United States has chosen the theme, “Mary, Mother of Life,” for this year’s Respect Life Month. Bishop Thomas, the chairman of the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities shares that “Our Blessed Mother is our model for upholding the sanctity of all human life in every stage and circumstance. We entrust all our efforts to protect mothers and babies to her motherly care, which we greatly need at this time.”
With this in mind, we invite the Holy Family Community to join our Angels 4 Life club as we pray for Mary’s intercession in converting hearts and minds concerning the sanctity of human life. Parents and families are invited to join us at the Marian Shrine on campus on one or more of the following mornings. No need to sign in at the office as we will be finished by 7:45.
Tuesday, October 27 at 7:15 a.m.

Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM)
All persons who engage in ministry in the Diocese of Austin (clergy, religious, employees, and lay volunteers) must complete the EIM registration and training through VIRTUS® Online in order to serve in ministry. New applicants, and existing applicants who have never attended an EIM Workshop, must attend an in-person EIM Workshop to fulfill their initial EIM compliance requirement. Please visit https://www.austindiocese.org/eim-instructions for more information. If you are a new applicant who has submitted an EIM Application and need to attend an EIM Workshop, contact your parish/school EIM site administrator regarding the status of an in-person EIM Workshop at your location.
All volunteers must wear EIM name badges to indicate they are volunteers with Holy Family Catholic School. Once you have completed the EIM workshop, please contact Dr. Danna Kelemen for a new or replacement badge, or if you have any questions regarding EIM compliance.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our community and children safe.
