We Want Your Feedback! Take the Short Patron Survey Now Through November 2!
Republic School District invites parents and guardians of our kindergarten through 12th grade students to complete the short survey found at the link below (EC families will receive a separate survey in November). Your feedback allows us to see at what level we are meeting the needs of our students, families and community at large. Preparing each student for a successful future is our mission, and the information gathered through this survey provides us a measure to see how well we are achieving this goal.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is open October 22-November 2. Thank you in advance!

Student Surveys
Just as we are asking for your feedback, throughout the month of October students in grades 4-12 were asked to give their feedback. Surveys regarding building culture were distributed to these students. We'll share out results from this survey along with the parent survey later this year.
No School November 5 & 6
The Republic School District will be closed for Fall Break on Monday, November 5 and there will be no school for students on Tuesday, November 6 for the STAR Summit School Improvement Day. For families in need of childcare, Cub Care through the STRIPES 360 program will be available for kindergarten through 8th grade students.  CLICK HERE for more information.
September RepMO Hero: Kristi Archer
Last school year we started an employee recognition program called RepMO Hero, and we are excited to continue it into 2018-19! Throughout the school year we will take turns recognizing outstanding certified and classified employees. District employees submit nominations and then a nominee from each department group and building are submitted to a district selection committee who chooses one individual to be the RepMO Hero of the Month! That individual is recognized and receives $500 for his/her department or building to spend on resources of his/her choosing.

Join us in congratulating Kristi Archer, Sweeny Elementary Secretary, as the SEPTEMBER REPMO HERO OF THE MONTH!!! "Miss Kristi" goes above and beyond in her role to meet the needs of students and fellow teammates. She spreads light wherever she goes, and we are so lucky to have her on our district team!

Below is a compilation of the nominations received from district employees in regards to Miss Kristi. She will be honored at the October 18 Board of Education meeting, and will also receive $500 to be spent on the resources of her choice. We are #repmoproud of you, Miss Kristi!

Kristi is incredibly hard working and completely dedicated to her job at Sweeny Elementary! She has a contagious smile that is known by Sweeny staff and parents when they visit the front office. Each day she works her hardest to make everyone feel supported. Kristi goes above the call of duty by being involved in Fun For Faculty, action teams, After School Clubs, and arriving early and staying late to help set up for special staff and student events. Kristi brings a creative element to Sweeny that is undeniable! Her laugh is contagious! We are so very blessed that she is the first face people see when they walk in the door! We are so thankful that Kristi chooses to serve on Team Sweeny!
