Lord Jesus, help me notice Your presence and the ways You are working in my life each day. When I have decisions to make, give me Your wisdom to choose what is right and the courage to decide. Teach me to make peace with others and not put off what needs to be done. May I trust You, follow Your guidance, and walk each day with a peaceful heart. Amen.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Dear Parents,

We hope to see you at the Eat-N-Treat this Friday! The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Pavilion. It will be a wonderful opportunity to wear costumes, share food, and enjoy fellowship with one another. Thank you to the Parent Association and Savio clubs for supporting the great event.

There is still time to contribute to the food drive that the Faith in Action class is sponsoring. You are welcome to bring your donations to the Eat-N-Treat. Thank you for your generous support!

This Sunday, we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints as we begin the month of November. On November 1, the Church honors all the holy men and women who now live in heaven with God. This powerful solemnity invites us to reflect on the witness of the saints and the hope of eternal life. As we remember all those who have gone before us in faith, we pray: All you holy men and women, pray for us!

God Bless,

Erin Vu

Advent Online Talk

Emmanuel: God is with us; are we with Him?

November 17

Choose from two sessions:

9am & 12pm CST

Technology, Noise, and Rekindling Silent Recollection

Advent is a season of silent prayer in anticipation of the coming of Christ. Christians understand that Christmas isn’t merely a historical event, but a living reality: God is still with us. The question we must ask is, are we truly with Him through our time, attention, and actions?

Join Smart Families as we explore the dangers of a digital environment that often bombards us with audible, visual, and mental noise, leaving us distracted and fragmented. Prepare for the Advent season this year and lean into the depths of Psalm 46’s invitation: to “be still, and know that I am God.”

Grandparent's Day is coming up!

Please check-in with your parents to ask if they need any help registering. It is important to provide them with the correct teacher and grade level information so that we may easily connect your children with them on Grandparent's Day. If you register for them, please let them know so that we don't have double registrations by mistake.

Your parents will be able to order and pay for lunch when they RSVP or they may bring their own lunch. Some grandparents like to order for their grandchildren as well. Please double check with your parents to see what they decide to do prior to making lunch decisions for your child.

Fund-a-Need Update: Thanks to this community’s generosity, we have been able to complete the following items as part of our gym refresh:

  • Installation of a new scoreboard
  • New gym wall pads
  • New scorer’s table and padded player chairs
  • PLUS installation of branded wrapping is underway to give the space a new look and feel.

Approximately $40,000 remains from last year's Fund-A-Need initiative. These funds are currently being designated for gym bathroom renovations, including new tile, and facility upgrades.

If funds remain after that project is completed, we will explore adding additional bleacher seating to increase capacity for school events.

We are currently in the discovery phase of the 2026-2027 Gala Fund-A-Need project. We value your input. Please fill out the following survey to help us determine the prioritization of certain projects that have been suggested, or perhaps you have one of your own to share.

Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM)

All persons who engage in ministry in the Diocese of Austin (clergy, religious, employees, and lay volunteers) must complete the EIM registration and training through VIRTUS® Online in order to serve in ministry. New applicants, and existing applicants who have never attended an EIM Workshop, must attend an in-person EIM Workshop to fulfill their initial EIM compliance requirement. Please visit https://www.austindiocese.org/eim-instructions for more information. If you are a new applicant who has submitted an EIM Application and need to attend an EIM Workshop, contact your parish/school EIM site administrator regarding the status of an in-person EIM Workshop at your location.

All volunteers must wear EIM name badges to indicate they are volunteers with Holy Family Catholic School. Once you have completed the EIM workshop, please contact Dr. Danna Kelemen for a new or replacement badge, or if you have any questions regarding EIM compliance.

Thank you for your assistance in keeping our community and children safe.
