Happy New Year and welcome to my January email newsletter!

2018 was a strange year in the Toronto real estate market, with some ups (the average condo price was 7.8% higher than 2017) and downs (sales were down by 16.1%). If you’re curious about what 2019 will bring, check out my latest blog below!

Although we’ve got another two months of winter, there are some bright spots: the ever-popular Winterlicious starts in a few days and the annual Light Festival is happening in the Distillery District. Links to both are below AND check out the resubmitted proposal for the new Frank Gehry super-towers on King Street West; mind-blowing design to say the least!!

Despite the upcoming cold snap, market momentum is building and the peak spring real estate season is closer than you think! If you’re considering making a move in the coming months, it's never too soon to start planning your buying/selling strategy for success... please give me a call and I'd be pleased to have the opportunity to discuss your plans with you!

Toronto Light Festival: January 18 to March 3
Lighting up the long winter nights with distinctive works from local and international light artists, the Toronto Light Festival illuminates the Distillery Historic District from January to March. Visitors are taken on a visual journey as the festival transforms the picturesque historic neighbourhood into a large open-air gallery.
