10-Day Countdown to EVV
Get ready to start using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
Don't forget! Starting November 2, caregivers must have a matching Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) record for the following service codes: S5125, S5126, T1019, and T1020. (This includes services codes with modifiers. i.e. S5125U5, S5125UA, etc.)

Note: Live-in workers are exempt from using EVV.

EVV is not replacing paper timesheets or time submissions on the web portal, MyDirectCare.com. EVV is in addition to your normal time submission.
Caregivers recently received a welcome email from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) with their unique state-issued ID number. Caregivers need this ID number to register for the EVV system.

The two most common ways to submit an EVV shift are with Sandata Mobile Visit Verification (MVV) and Sandata Telephonic Visit Verification (TVV).

Sandata Mobile Visit Verification (MVV)
Caregivers should download and register for the Sandata Mobile Connect app. Instructions are available on our EVV Training Materials page.

Sandata Telephonic Visit Verification (TVV)
Caregivers should review the Call Reference Guide and Service and Task List. These documents are posted on our EVV Training Materials page. Below are additional items you will need for TVV.
  • TVV Toll-Free Numbers: 1-844-772-8379 or 1-855-794-6909
  • Caregiver (Santrax ID): Find this in your DHS welcome email
  • Client ID: Will be provided soon
If you have questions about EVV, please review our EVV Resources page. Check back frequently as we will be updating this page often.
