The end of the school year will be here before we know it, and with it comes many end-of-year festivities, especially Prom and Graduation. 3-DAY RENTON AIRPORT DRILL
You may have wondered what was happening at the Renton Airport from April 2-4, as multiple fire and medic crews rushed to the runway each morning. All is well; this was just a drill!

For three days in April, emergency response teams from around the city and local jurisdictions descended on the Renton Airport (which was closed for the drill) to get a realistic idea of what an emergency response at the airport would be like. This type of drill helps ensure that, should the unthinkable happen, our crews are fully prepared to respond quickly and efficiently.
