Every Doctor wants his/her patient to adhere to recommendations. I want to influence you to make healthy lifestyle choices (food/diet, exercise, sleep, etc.). If your doctor or coach is giving you general recommendations about what to eat or how to exercise, it’s not a behavior change, it’s
a conversation.
And these conversations aren’t working based on current stats:
- Up to 40% of patients do not adhere to physician instructions for lifestyle changes.
- That rises to 70% or more when the advice requires significant lifestyle modification or complex behavior change.
- 50% of patients do not follow their doctor’s orders even about taking medication.
I will never give up on helping you create positive changes in lifestyle, longevity, exercise, and diet. I am always hopeful that one or two of my recommendations will allow you to change and can make a big difference in extending the quality of your life, getting better sleep, helping reduce being overweight, help get rid of chronic stiffness, and chronic pain.
Let's start this journey of change...together. Call my office at (310)-444-9393 today!
