THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

As 2017 winds down, the DRHS would like to take a moment to thank you for your donations, your adoptions, and your time to help the animals we serve!  With over 2,000 adoptions in 2017 these are just a small sample of the lives we have touched.

Getting into the holiday spirit... DRHS style!

Over 100 people attending our  Santa Paws event this year
and over 50 animals were welcomed to sit on Santa's lap.  Children also had the opportunity to make Christmas presents for their animals including  dog and cat treats and toys!

Baby it's Cold Outside

Let's take a Walk - Massaging petroleum jelly or other paw protectants into paw pads before going outside can help protect from salt and chemical agents. Booties provide even more coverage and can also prevent sand and salt from getting lodged between bare toes and causing irritation. Use pet-friendly ice melts whenever possible.

THANK YOU!

Thank you to Bryant Elementary for hosting a supply drive that collected a load of helpful supplies containing over 20 enrichment toys, 70 rolls of paper towels and 80 cans of food! Their support and kindness will help us care for thousands of animals in the tri-state area until they find their homes.

Featured Pets
Pictured is one of our furry critters available for adoption, Rocket. He is  a six year old American Rabbit who needs a loving home.

We still have a lot of animals who are looking for their new families.  Do you need a furry friend to help you stay warm this winter? Come fall in love with one of our pets who are in need of a family to welcome them into their hearts.
