Aileen Luna Ministro, John Jay ’21, jumped at the chance to get involved in her community after transferring to John Jay in 2018 to study law and society. The Secretary of John Jay’s Student Council, she has held eight different internship roles in the legal, nonprofit and civic engagement sectors. Aileen hopes to attend law school in the near future.

Aileen’s advice: “If you do not think you fit in, let your work speak for itself. When networking, share how the things that make you feel different also allow you to understand your industry in a different way.”
