Everyone Counts!
National Street and Shelter Point-in-Time (PIT) Count

Jan. 24, 2022
WE NEED 100 VOLUNTEERS FAST!

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a collaborative effort led by Opening Doors Northwest Florida to conduct a two-county census of people experiencing homelessness. An accurate PIT count helps bring in resources to both Escambia and Santa Rosa County to address homelessness and housing.

Volunteers are needed during Monday, January 24th, 2022, to help with the Point-in-Time count. Teams will be going out to various locations to survey un-sheltered individuals. The registration form allows you to select a preferred location.

Click on “Sign up to Volunteer’ to register.  (Must be at least 18 years old to volunteer)

Registered volunteers will attend a live virtual training January 19th, 2pm. If you are unable to attend the live virtual training a recording of the training will be sent to you.

Please feel free to print and post the attached flyer, and share this email with friends, family, clubs, church members, students, co-workers...
