Students in grades 7 through 12 are invited to submit short animated or live action films of a maximum of 10 minutes in length.

Cash prizes to be won!

Join Patti DiFlorio for a creative afternoon and make your own glass on glass mosaic while learning the art of mosaics.

Create a beautiful heart on glass in the colour of your choice! You will learn how to nip and shape stained glass and apply it to your project. When your desired pattern is complete, you will learn how to grout and clean the project right in class! Leave with a personalized mosaic work of art to gift or keep for yourself!

In this practical workshop, holistic nutritionist Kim Neuendorff will explore how food choices can either drain your energy or help you feel lighter, clearer, and more vibrant. We’ll take the fear and confusion out of “detoxing” and reframe it as what it truly is: supporting your body’s natural ability to cleanse, heal, and thrive.

You’ll leave with practical ideas you can start using right away—and a clearer understanding of how food can support your best self.

Forest of Reading 2026

The Forest of Reading is Canada's largest recreational reading program and an initiative of the Ontario Library Association. The goal is to encourage a love of reading.

The Forest of Reading celebrates Canadian books, authors, publishers, and illustrators. The program is for children and youth from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Participants are encouraged to read the nominated titles and vote for their favourite books. Voting takes place in April 2026.

To participate visit the library to register and track your reading! Participants that cast their vote can enter for a chance to win 1 of 2 prize packs!
