EDUCATION SESSION
SME Lending and the Rise of Private Debt
Private debt is a compelling asset class, offering investors downside protection in a turbulent market environment. Assets under management have reached a record level of over $760bn and market participants expect this asset class to grow in 2019. A niche market in private debt is lending to SMEs or small and medium-sized enterprises. Learn about the most attractive opportunities and the evolving role of banks in this space. Hear case studies of loans made and returns achieved, prompting investors to increase their exposure to the SME asset class over time.

Following the panel discussion, share your views on whether private debt may fit into your clients' portfolios as you network over drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
