Henri Arslanian
FinTech & Crypto Leader, Asia, PwC
Henri Arslanian is the PwC FinTech & Crypto Leader for Asia, the Chairman of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong where he teaches the first FinTech university course in Asia.
Henri leads PwC’s crypto efforts and advises numerous crypto exchanges, crypto funds, ICO/STOs as well as traditional financial institutions and regulators in relations to their crypto initiatives and policies.
With over 500,000 LinkedIn followers, Henri has been awarded many industry and academic awards over the years from being regularly named one of the Most Influential Individuals in FinTech in Asia to being awarded the Governor General of Canada Gold Medal for Academic Excellence.
Henri was also recognized as one of the global LinkedIn Top Voices in Economy & Finance and is regularly featured in global media including Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times.
Before joining PwC, Henri was with a FinTech start-up and previously spent many years with UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong. Henri started his career as a financial markets and funds lawyer in Canada and Hong Kong.
Henri is also a TEDx speaker, a published author, and currently sits on several finance, academic, government, civil society, and FinTech related boards and advisory boards globally.
Henri speaks five languages including English, French, Armenian, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
He holds a Masters in Chinese Law from Tsinghua University; a joint Global Executive MBA from Columbia Business School, London Business School, and Hong Kong University; a Masters in Transnational Law from the University of Sherbrooke; and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Montreal (Dean’s List of Excellence).
Krista Murphy
Chief Operating Officer, International, Point72
Krista Murphy is the Chief Operating Officer for Point72’s International businesses, and the Head of Point72’s Singapore Office. She is responsible for managing many of the investment services support functions in the Firm’s Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, London, and Sydney offices.
Ms. Murphy joined the Firm in 2008 as a member of the Finance team, eventually leading the Financial Planning & Analysis group. She most recently served as the Executive Officer for Point72’s Long/Short Discretionary Investing business.
Ms. Murphy was previously the Controller at Marakon Associates in New York City. She began her career in Finance at IBM, where she held several roles.
Ms. Murphy earned a B.S. in Accounting and Master of Science in Management from Purdue University.
