You have biases. We all do. Research suggests that unconscious bias occurs automatically and unintentionally as the brain makes quick judgments based on past experiences and background. Bias influences workplace decisions, including hiring, salaries and, ultimately, career advancement.

As a Banking and Capital Markets and Wealth and Asset Management Assurance and Advisory Partner in the Los Angeles Financial Services Organization of Ernst & Young LLP, Cammock has extensive experience helping clients across a wide range of business needs, including alternative asset management, consumer lending, real estate, commercial lending and broker-dealer operations.

Todd Molz
General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, Oaktree Capital

Mr. Molz serves as Oaktree’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer. He oversees the Compliance, Internal Audit and Administration functions and all aspects of Oaktree’s legal activities, including fund formation, acquisitions and other special projects. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Molz was a partner of the Los Angeles law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, where his practice focused on tax and structuring aspects of complex and novel business transactions. Prior to joining Munger Tolles, Mr. Molz served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alfred T. Goodwin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Molz received a B.A. degree in political science cum laude from Middlebury College and a J.D. degree with honors from the University of Chicago. While at Chicago, Mr. Molz served on the Law Review, received the John M. Olin Student Fellowship and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Molz serves on the Board of Directors of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Rosemary Pugh
Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing, Research Affiliates

Rosemary Pugh is senior vice president and head of marketing for Research Affiliates, LLC, a research-intensive quantitative asset management firm. The firm’s investment strategies are primarily distributed in partnership with leading financial institutions. Core strategies include smart beta, factor investing, and asset allocation. Rosemary and her team are responsible for communicating the firm’s important and influential insights, working with partners, associations, and media to help institutional and retail investors uncover innovative investment strategies, and stewardship of the Research Affiliates brand, which is recognized as one of the most valuable in the investment world. For the previous nine years, Rosemary built and ran global marketing at Green Street Advisors, a leader in real estate research. In this role, she oversaw a content-driven communications strategy across business lines and geographic borders to help grow the firm as it repositioned its brand, launched new products, and entered new markets. Previously, Rosemary was an equity analyst with Green Street's award- winning research team, managed a valuation team for RSM McGladrey, provided strategic consulting for Interliance, LLC, and worked in corporate finance at JP Morgan Chase. Reena Hajat Carroll, MSW is a non-profit executive with extensive experience in the field of diversity and inclusion. Her leadership has reflected an uncompromising commitment to fostering inclusive corporate, educational and nonprofit climates. Reena brings in-depth knowledge and experience about how to run a mission centered non-profit, that truly focuses on serving its community. She holds a master’s degree in social work from Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work with an emphasis on social and economic development and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Occidental College. Reena is the current CEO of the global nonprofit Resources for Infant Educarers and for more than a decade was Executive Director of St. Louis, Missouri based nonprofit, Diversity Awareness Partnership. Reena was featured in DiversityInc Magazine for her diversity and inclusion efforts, and has received a number of honors including, Bank of America’s Local Hero Award and Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work’s Distinguished Alumni Award. She, her husband and two children relocated to Southern California in 2017, and have enjoyed every minute.
